I was just called "the hardest working man in the streaming business"...
I was just called “the hardest working man in the streaming business” by a professional gamer who streams on own3D.tv. I don’t know if that is true or not, but what I do know is that it doesn’t feel like work when you love what you do. I do what I do and love what I do for the gamers and the viewers. I remember when I was playing “professionally” and wished there was some way I could make a living out of gaming. At the time, I couldn’t. So, I got into the business, but not as a gamer. I never regretted it, as my resume now shows the incredible opportunities I have had over these years. For over a year now, I have been working with the incredible, talented, and small own3D.tv team as one of the company’s directors to help make gamers’ dreams come true, and also help bring entertainment to gaming lovers who just love to watch professional and non-professional gamers play.
We all know how much streaming has evolved and how much it is changing the gaming industry. I am just proud to be a part of it and honored to meet and work with some of the most influential people in this industry. I have been in some way, shape, or form a professional in this industry now since I was 13 when I made my first $. In these 15 years so far, every single professional gamer and gaming professional I have met have been some of the most incredible and inspiring people I have ever met. True superstars. I can honestly say that we are all one of a kind, all unique, but all share the same passion.
It feels great to be recognized and be appreciated by the players you try hard to help, but it feels even better to watch those same players stand victorious on stage lifting up their championship trophies. Because in some way, you know you helped pave the road for them to reach that moment of glory they are living in that exact moment.
